Portwest is a vital and exciting outdoor and adventure clothing retailer based in Westport, County Mayo, and rapidly expanding. They needed a retail experience worthy of their future neighbours in Dublin - the long-established Diesel and Cult.  With a market ranging from teenage snowboarders to retired walkers, the overall concept had to cross the age bracket and appeal to a wide range of interests.

The result

Using the common love of travel and exploration as a starting point, characterful touchpoints and bespoke features were created such as an inspiration area, a unique footwear display and seating area, memorable focal points and installations to manage customer flow.  Graphics and instore marketing increase customer interaction with staff and products, encouraging engagement with the staff to fully utilise their knowledge and apply it to their needs.

Where are they now?

A rapidly expanding family business, Portwest are currently searching for the premises to follow Dublin with a view to opening eight more in Ireland in the next five years.
