Slide is the latest venture from the award-winning Muriel's team, and has hit the ground running.  Another cool and characterful addition to the Cathedral Quarter, the strong concept is based on the Prohibition era.  With that as the brief, we created two interior concept boards to choose from, one focussed on the shabby, thrown-together speakeasies, and the other from the opulent Mafia-controlled perspective.  The client loved them both so much that she decided to incorporate both into the interior, using one on each floor!  

The result

Our concept boards were the starting point for a striking scheme which is a real feast for the eyes, comprising a decadent bar and a shabby-chic nightclub.  With several names being explored prior to settling on Slide, we created several bespoke art deco motifs, before simply and finally, the Slide logo.

Where are they now?

With an already huge presence and loyal following, this eclectic bar and nightclub continues the strength of character of its renowned predecessors Muriel's and The Spaniard.
